Erwin Nugraha is a human geographer specialising in climate change adaptation and global urban studies. I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Earth Sciences, Durham University, United Kingdom. My research focuses on the politics and governance of climate change adaptation, urban environmental justice, and planetary decolonisation with a specific interest in the Asia Pacific. I was among the first social scientists to win the Allianz Climate Risk Research Awards in 2017. I am also the co-editor of Overlooked Cities: Power, Politics and Knowledge Beyond the Urban South
