Erwin Nugraha is a human geographer specialising in climate change adaptation and urban studies. I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Earth Sciences, Durham University, UK and a Senior Research Fellow at the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI), Indonesia. My research focuses on the politics and governance of climate change adaptation, urban environmental justice, and planetary decolonisation with a specific interest in the Asia Pacific. I was one of the first social scientists to win the Allianz Climate Risk Research Awards in 2017. I am also the co-editor of Overlooked Cities: Power, Politics and Knowledge Beyond the Urban South.
